Our Foundation Studios Essex journey began over 30 years ago when our eldest daughter joined as a very young pupil. It is with thanks and appreciation of the expert teaching, guidance and encouragement that she received at Dance Foundation that she fulfilled her ambition and is now the owner of her own dance school in South London. We highly recommend the excellent standard of teaching coupled with attention to the safety and well-being of the pupils. There is also a strong sense of “family” which makes learning to dance in all its formats enjoyable for all ages and abilities. In retirement we now benefit from Pilates classes at Pilates Foundation Training Ltd which continues our long and happy journey.

I would highly recommend Dance Foundation. The teachers Vanessa and Amanda are amazing and so encouraging. They are always there to help and bend over backwards for their students. My daughter has attended here for a number of years now and she loves it. She has grown so much as a dancer and in confidence. They offer a structured disciplined environment were they encourage independence that helps each child reach their best not just as a dancer but as a person. It is also a great place for the children to make friends and have fun. Always immaculately clean and the teachers always have a smile. Lovely dance school!

My daughters have attended Dance Foundation over the last 17 years in total. They have loved going from day one. The Principals are professional and have been amazing role models for my girls. The standard of dance is second to none and the girls have enjoyed growing in confidence and ability as they passed through their grades. It was lovely when my girls were small to watch the older girls perform during shows, they aspired to dance like them, and now it is their turn to role model for the younger students, which gives them a sense of pride.
